COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

Personal Data

  • Identity Information. We will collect personal information from you if you sign/up register on the Site for an account or make a purchase, register to receive our newsletter, or interact with any customer service feature.   • Account, Login, Purchase, and Shipping Information. We will collect personal information from you if you create an account on the Site, which will include Login details, including your username and password.   • Payment Information. Payments information, including bank details and card details, will be are handled through paypal and Amazon pay, our third-party payment processor. Tidbits Planners does not access or store your credit card information. Paypal and/or Amazon Pay will collect and may retain your credit card information in order to process your payment. We do not control PayPal or their use of your information.
  • Product History and Interests Information. When you make a purchase or save certain products, we will also store information on your orders, any “wish list” of products that you create, or products you save as “favorites.”
  • Customer Service Requests. The Site may provide functionality which allows you to voluntarily submit request or inquiry forms, including, for example, requests for help with the Site or requests for product information. The Site may also allow you to submit suggestions or comments. These forms may require that you share Identity information, in addition to an order number, a description of your comment or question, or a photo related to your comment or question. Convertkit is used for delivery of email updates and newsletters. We store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications.  Please refer to Convertkit’s privacy policy for further information. We may send you marketing emails, surveys, or newsletters to notify you about products or services that may be of interest to you. If you would like to stop receiving marketing emails from us, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive. If you opt-out, you will continue to receive service-related emails. Any non-service related email you receive from us will include an unsubscribe link that will allow you to opt-out of receiving future emails. Please note that it may take up to forty-eight (48) hours for us to process an unsubscribe request. Even after you opt out of all electronic communications, we will retain your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, although we will no longer use it to contact you.

We may also use other third-party services to assist us in marketing. You may see these as popup features or separate sign-up pages. Those services will collect the information you voluntarily provide so we may provide the services you request.

TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies and Web Beacons

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Site to help customize the Site and improve your experience. Tidbits & Company is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and providing links to products or services available from Amazon.com. As part of this Amazon Associates program, the Site may post customized links, provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to the Amazon listing. This affiliate program utilizes cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Tidbits & Company is designed for those 18 years of age or older. Visitors under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian to use certain features of our Site. This Site is a general audience site and children under the age of 13 are prohibited from using or registering for an account on the Site. We will not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13; nor will we send any email correspondence to children under the age of 13. We may ask for your birth date during the registration process in order to verify your age. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will remove that information immediately and delete it from our servers. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
